Coach Edge has coached all his life in some capacity. While growing up with two blind parents may have had
disadvantages, it was more a blessing in disguise that taught him about leadership during his early years. With over 15
years of coaching experience, his successes run deep having spent time at the intermediate, high school, and collegiate
levels (NCAA, NJCAA, NAIA, and NCCAA). Some of the terms that define his coaching style are consistent, hard-working,
disciplined, and always FUNdamental. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies for the Helping Professions
from Cincinnati Christian University in 2005 and completed his Master’s Degree in Sports Coaching with the United
States Sports Academy in 2011. He and his wife, Lori, attend Cherokee Baptist Church and reside in Ball Ground, Georgia.
They have five children: Tristan (13), Cake (9), Blake (4), Brooke (2), and Brayson (1).
